Great news! Next week, Thursday May 24th, is the opening of the Inclusive Research Design Centre at OCAD University. Coinciding with the building’s opening is the opening of the art exhibition, representing students’ work involving inclusive design, etc.
And I’m part of the show!
Three of my pieces are, actually (*dusts shoulders*).
The three pictured are Tactile Tendencies (October 2011), Soft Spoken (December 2010), and The Other F-word (March 2011). I am very excited and honoured to be a part of this. I’m fagging up the basement.
Seven of fifteen t-shirts done (in about five hours), which is impressive/surprising due to my limited space.

First screen printing in my basement… of many.
At the Material Art & Design sale during the OCAD Grad show, I sold a couple of my Fag/Pride Patches to a teacher. He then asked if I could sew them into a pouch for his tarot cards. Heck. Yes.
Interior is a red satin/satine (not too sure; I stole it from my mum), and a simple zipper sewn between the layers. Very happy with how it turned out.
Jesus totally would have been for the fags. You know: if he was a real dude.
