A Transformer-Robot-Dinosaur who makes art.

I'm a designer and maker in Toronto, Canada.

I make things! All kinds of things! Lately, lots of bow ties and monsters. This is a process blog/art journal of things I make, along with the occasional egotistical selfie, of course.

Salvaged the selvedge.

The original design for this material was the same at this asymmetrical one, but the raw silk my parents got from Cambodia for me didn’t like that much.

Luckily, I’ve got mad/MAaD skillz and was able to adapt one of my other patterns to the ruined material.  That was necessary because the striped material is raw silk originally from India, circa 1970, and recently brought over from Australia.  Also, there is no more left.

Buy it tomorrow at the Gladstone!

Dear raw silk my parents brought me back from Cambodia:

I will now turn you into bow ties.

This one is not yet sized, and is for sale!  Raw silk, and quite a beauty.
